Pete Sampras and James Blake have been added to the roster for a tennis exhibition in Atlantic City. Organizers said on Tuesday that 14-time Grand Slam champion Sampras will play Blake on April 10 in the inaugural Caesars Tennis Classic. The event will be hosted by Venus Williams at Boardwalk Hall

A Serbian court has reduced the prison sentence for tennis player Jelena Dokic’s father, who was convicted of threatening the Australian ambassador. The court in Sremska Mitrovica said Tuesday it reduced Damir Dokic’s 15-month sentence to 12 months. Dokic could be out of prison in early May.

ATP makes Corona Extra top sponsor (AP)

Corona Extra and the ATP have signed a 5 1/2-year sponsorship agreement that makes the Mexican beer brand the top sponsor of the men’s tennis tour. A person with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press it has a total expected value of about $70 million. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the sides agreed not to reveal financial terms.

Kournikova’s mom charged with felony (AP)

Tennis star Anna Kournikova’s mother has been formally charged with felony child neglect in Florida. She was arrested in January and released from the Palm Beach County Jail after posting a $3,000 bond. Alla Kournikova could face up to five years in prison if convicted of the third-degree felony charge.
